SMALL TOWN BUSINESS,
BIG CITY PRO’s
by Marty Strock
. . . John and Dana Dixon have been running a successful business for over twenty-five years. They do quality top of the line graphic design.
. . . Graphic Design is the trade of business identification, visual advertising, and visual enhancement. Dixon Design has been located in Danville, Kentucky since 1989. Danville is a small, high-class town made of professional businesses. For these experienced professionals Danville is the smallest place where they have taken their craft. The Dixon's began their business in Dayton, Ohio in 1979. The Dixon's met as co-workers at Wright State University's Graphic Arts department. Both were born in Dayton, Ohio. With the invention of the Internet they can now do work for clients anywhere in the world from their small studio in Danville. Co-founder, John Dixon has traveled, worked, and studied in Cincinnati and Europe. John’s childhood dream was to one day own his own design studio. Dana worked as a typesetter and proofreader and worked her way up to Graphic Arts. They have done major publications for medical companies, colleges, and other organizations. They also did a tourism booklet for the city of Danville. John has designed many of the posters for the “Great American Brass Band Festival” held in Danville. He and Dana volunteer their time for other Danville charities and organizations. They actively donate time to the Arts Commission, Republican Party, and the Salvation Army.
. . . Dixon Design offers high quality, personal service, and creative solutions for its clients. They have worked in many mediums including television commercials and videos. If you would like to see some samples of their work, you can visit their website at www.dixondesign.com.
