Development Design
The American Historic
Racing Motorcycle Association
Target audience:
Vintage
motorcycle enthusiasts
Problem:
Attract membership growth within a niche market.
Solution:
Our firm created graphics and formats that would present a perception of dynamic
enjoyment to prospective members and industry sponsors. The approach was to
use period-style imagery, which was highly successful. The startup organization
has since expanded to an energetic sustaining membership of about 5000 and
now has a million-dollar budget.

Develop a total look to effectively communicate critical information about
the managed care plan.
Solution:
Dixon Design created a visual identity, color scheme and comprehensive illustrative
approach to unify all materials and promotional tools for the innovative,
state-supported program. Focused attention was given to selecting a level
of impact and legibility uniquely appropriate for this population in a style
that would reinforce human dignity and positive attitudes.
Promotion Design
The New Columbian
Brass Band
Target audience:
Lovers of brass bands
Problem:
Design the primary identification for a new professional band dedicated to
recreating the authentic music of "America's Golden Age."
Solution:
Faithfully adhering to turn-of-the-century letterform styles, we handcrafted an emblem that captured the exuberant spirit of the period. It was used for CD packaging, marketing materials, promotional attire, and a wristwatch face.
